Costa Rica Away football shirt 2002 - 2003

2002 - 2003 Costa Rica away football shirt. Away shirt used between 2002 and 2003 on some matches pre- and post-World Cup; and prior to the 2003 Gold Cup (when the kits were changed).

The above example was a player-issued item belonging to Alajuelense defender Luis Antonio Marín for the 2002 Korea/Japan World Cup. As Costa Rica played all of their three World Cup matches in the home kit, the away kit went unused during the tournament.

The above shirt, whilst obtained from Marín himself, is one of the surplus kits.
