1995 - 1997 Sheffield United away football shirt. To compliment the horror of the 'diamond' home shirt, manufacturers Avec supplied The Blades with a halved away shirt in purple and gold. This was accentuated further with rather large and unsightly 'A' motifs along the shoulders.
Again, this shirt was not to the taste of many Blades fans (largely due to purple being too near a colour choice to blue, which is associated with neighbours Wednesday..) this shirt lasted 2 seasons before Avec were dropped in favour of Le Coq Sportif
