Formed specify to bring another professional soccer team to the New England region, Hartford Athletic also brings professional sports back to Hartford Connecticut after the departure of the NHL\\\'s Hartford Whalers (now the Carolina Hurricane) in 1997. A newly revitalized Dillon Stadium, in downtown Hartford, is their home.
The Number 19 on the back of both the Home and Away Inaugural jerseys signifies their first year in competition. 2019.
