Coventry City (The Sky Blues) Football Shirts
Coventry first adopted the sky blue colour of their kits in 1962, however, it is for a number of striking designs in the 1970s and 80s for which they will always be remembered. The infamous chocolate brown away kit from 1978-1980 and the 1981-1983 designs that blatantly incorporated the logo of their sponsors, Talbot.
Coventry City kit sponsors have included Peugeot, Ricoh, 12Bet and Subaru - view more

- Gary Mabutt's Knee (Coventry Fanzine) http://coventrycity.rivals.net/ Why is it called Gary Mabbutt's Knee? It all goes back to Coventry City's proudest moment - winning the FA Cup at Wembley in 1987 by beating the mighty Tottenham Hotspur 3-2 after extra time. The Sky Blues' winning goal on that day - one of the best finals in living memory incidentally - was a bizarre own goal, scored off Gary Mabutt's knee.
