2018 Alajuelense home football shirt. Home shirt used during the latter part of 2018. Alajuelense used at least four different sponsorship arrangements during the year: the shirt was initially launched (and sold) with cell phone carrier Mobil, Toyota and cell phone carrier Claro (in that order) on front; early on the year an agreement with Bridgestone was signed with the sponsorship being placed under Claro; later on the year the Toyota and Kelme logos were moved to the shoulders whilst the Mobil one was moved to just below the collar and a space was left between Claro and Bridgestone; with the final arrangement being the one pictured on the above shirt, featuring Mexican cement factory Cementos Fortaleza filling the empty space between Claro and Bridgestone.

Shirt #25 is used by full-back Luis Sequeira and this is a matchworn item that was obtained from the kitroom. Sequeira has been an Alajuelense mainstay since his debut in 2014, with a short loan spell at Santos de Guápiles in early 2016. He was recalled by then-newly appointed Argentinian gaffer José Giacone ahead of the 2016-17 season, and has remained with Alajuelense since. Sequeira however has not enjoyed consistency in his position mainly due to injuries, and as of writing still is nursing one that he suffered in the latter stages of the Apertura 2018 campaign, which caused him to undergo surgery.
