1990 - 1992 Manchester United home football shirt. For Alex Ferguson's fourth full season in charge United were back in Europe, able to compete in the Cup Winners' Cup after the five year European ban on English clubs imposed after Heysel was lifted. Despite their lack of experience they had an untroubled route to the Final, where they met Spanish giants Barcelona, managed by Johan Cruyff and dubbed the 'Dream Team'. Two Mark Hughes goals, the second spectacular, helped United to a 2-1 win.
They finished sixth in the League, after just one win in their final four games.
