The Club was Nacional from Uruguay, the game was played on March 25, 1999. the game was held in Montevideo, and the result was Monterrey 3-2 Nacional, some key players during those games in the Copa Libertadores were Ricardo Antonio "El Turco" Mohamed, Jorge Erick Hernandez Tell, and Antonio Naelson "Sinha", Los Rayados did pretty good in the Copa Libertadores, but they did not manage to get enough points to keep going, and were eliminated.
