The shirt differs from the usual shirts worn that season as it is solid maroon unlike the normal shirts worn that season were 2 shades of maroon in thick vertical stripes. Embroidery on the shirt is Coca Cola cup final as they were the main sponsors of the tournament.

The only other match Hearts wore this style of shirt made by Pony was against Red Star Belgrade in Europe.
