Shirt was worn in the 1986 World Cup semi-final Argentina vs Belgium 2-0.

The 32 year old replaced Jorge Burruchaga in the 85th minute at the explicit request of Maradona.

Since Bochini was left out of the Argentina-squads for the '78 and '82 WC, these were the only 5 minutes he ever played in a World Cup.
