A rarity for Hednesford fans, as the Pitmen decided not to change to design of their away kit for 98-99. However, a change of sponsor was in order, as local recruitment firm Extra Personnel took over from MIRAS. Strangely, the 'HEDNESFORD TOWN FC' logo in the 'medallion' design on the shirt disappeared for some reason. This kit was worn in the F.A. Cup 2nd Round tie at Cardiff City, where the Pitmen lost 3-1
