Brazil Home fotbollströja 1988

1988 Brazil home fotbollströja. I was given this shirt as a gift by an Italian friend in 1991 (the same friend also had Paolo Rossi's match-worn Italy shirt from the '82 World Cup game against Cameroon hanging on his bedroom wall). This is clearly not a conventional Brasil shirt: the "BRASIL" across the chest would suggest it was used in the Olympics or Pan-American games. However the shirts used at those events don't quite match this one...

Any insight would be much appreciated!
