This kit includes the new logo of the Stars, the 2011 NASL championship patch (front center), and Nessie in the lower left corner. Due to cooler weather at the beginning and conclusion of the soccer season in Minnesota, the Stars also added a long sleeve version of this kit, which is not pictured. On the back, the Stars have the Minnesota State Motto L'Etoile du Nord, or Star of the North.
