Commemorative away top sold during the 2016-2017 Scottish Premiership season by Heart of Midlothian, one of the three SFL clubs from Edinburgh.

Using the exact same design as the regular away kit that season, this variant has seen the Main Stand commemorative badge embroidered into the fabric between the Puma sticker and Hearts crest (which is different to the one present on the home shirt, which was also for sale in regular and commemorative variants).

The Main Stand was designed by amed Archibald Leitch, and served the club for some 103 years before being knocked down and redeveloped to bring Tynecastle Park's capacity beyond 20000. Proceeds from the sale of these shirts went to the Tynecastle Redevelopment Fund.

The primrose and pink colours of the shirt are the racing colours of the 5th Earl of Rosebery, Archibald Primrose, who was an early patron of football in Scotland. This design mirrors that worn by the national team during a number of matches in the 20th century.
