The “Drip Kit”

Designed by Cassidy Sepnieski, a member of the team’s 3 person graphic design department, this jersey was finalized less than a month before the manufacturing deadline. After weeks and weeks of trying to come up with a new kit design that could rival the previous years alternate shirt, Ms. Sepnieski bought a bunch of art supplies at a craft store and began experimenting at home. she was trying a, new to her, method of street art called Hydro Dipping. This is a method where you spray paint into a pan of water, give it a little swirl, and then dip the canvas into the paint as it floats on top. 10 designs were then brought into the office for the design team to consider, and this was the chosen one. The canvas was then sent to Hummel who scanned the image and had it printed into the fabric, complete with team logo and sponsors. The player names and numbers are applied later, along with the league patch.
