2019 - 2020 Alajuelense goalkeeper voetbalshirt . Alajuelense goalkeeper shirt used between 2019 and 2020; and one of nine different goalkeeper shirts used on the 2020-21 season.

Shirt #1 was used by up-and-coming goalkeeper Erick Adonis Pineda, as of writing the last goalie who has used the number before his departure (as current first choice Leonel Moreira uses #23). Pineda made his senior debut in December 2016 and was promoted to first choice ahead of the 2019-20 season following veteran Patrick Pemberton\'s departure.

Pineda lost favor with Alajuelense fandom following a blunder that eventually costed the club its long-awaited thirtieth league title during the 2019 Apertura final (Alajuelense did finally win the title a year later but Pineda was no longer part of the club); and became borderline persona non grata due to a series of mistakes that costed Alajuelense a match at Pérez Zeledón three weeks later for the 2020 Clausura (adding up to his previous blunder). Pineda\'s last Alajuelense match was as a red card-forced sub at Limón one week before the Costa Rican league closed doors to fans due to the COVID-19 pandemic; and was eventually demoted to third-choice behind newcomer Leonel Moreira and long-standing second-choice Mauricio Vargas.

Pineda was loaned out to Sporting FC ahead of the 2020-21 season, however Sporting eventually exercised his buyout option in November 2020; his extended Alajuelense career coming to an end as a result.
