Home shirt as worn by freshly relegated Norwich City during the 2016/2017 SkyBet Championship season, wherein the Canaries could only muster 8th place under Alex Neil and, later, Alan Irvine. The team was knocked out of the FA Cup in the third round, but did claim a memorable win over Premier League side Everton in the League Cup before succumbing to Leeds United in the following round. The main gimmick of this shirt was a mesh overlay that ran from sleeve cuffs down the sides of the body to the bottom hem; this would later feature on the home shirts of MK Dons (17/18), Blackpool (18/19), and Carlisle United (19/20). The club's lesser used nickname, 'Yellows', is stickered on the back just below the collar in green lettering in an attempt to test the Stroop effect.
