Turning out in distinct pale gold tops with red and dark blue trim, the Jets played their first A-League season in this Reebok template that was used across the League (Perth Glory and Sydney FC, among others, used the same design in their respective colours).

The Jets can be prout to have had this smart and restrained effort, with the pale gold offset by diagonal shadow stripes across the front and back of the shirt. Unfortunately, the club’s crest, Hyundai’s sponsoring, and Reebok’s wordmark were all stickered onto the shirt, a decision stemming from technical ineptitude, lack of effort, desires to keep costs down, or a mix of two or more of those.
