Alajuelense Maglia da trasferta maglia di calcio 2001 - 2002
Alajuelense Maglia da trasferta maglia di calcio 2001 - 2002

2001 - 2002 Alajuelense away maglia di calcio. Away shirt worn during 2002 for the second half of the 2001-02 season, and the first half of the 2002-03 season. Alajuelense won the league treble after winning the Clausura and forcing the national finals against Apertura winners Santos de Guápiles, while under the helm of Colombian gaffer Jorge Luis Pinto.

Finta was the fourth foreign sponsor who stepped in for kitmaking duties in Alajuelense, after Spanish outfitters Kelme in 1994, giants Nike in 1996, and Mexican providers Atlética (1998) and Eescord (2000). The partnership was short-lived as Alajuelense signed a shirt agreement with local provider Jugados, which lasted until mid-2008 when PUMA stepped in.

Shirt #9 belonged to Slovak sharpshooter Jozef Miso who was on his seventh year with the club. Miso was spotted in 1995 by then-manager Valdeir Vieira on an European pre-season tour. Miso's former team thrashed Alajuelense in a friendly, Miso bagging in all goals. A few months later he was signed in and debuted in a match against Guanacasteca at Nicoya. The number was associated to him until his departure, save for the match on that same season (1995-96) in which he scored his first goal against Belén; on said match he used #24. Miso as of writing is the most prolific foreign scorer in Costa Rican football. He quietly retired on 2007 and constantly refused offers for testimonial matches up until early 2017, in which his current club UCR proposed one to Alajuelense for an upcoming Verano 2017 match.

Miso departed Alajuelense in 2003 after disagreements with the Board of Directors, however he remains a beloved character within the Alajuelense fandom; and is known to attend big Alajuelense matches (such as Clásicos) when not on coaching duty with his current team.
