1997 - 1998 Alajuelense home baju bolasepak. Home shirt as worn during the latter part of the 1996-97 season and almost all of the 1997-98 season.

This marked the first time Alajuelense signed a sportswear deal with a major brand (only to be outlasted by the current deal with PUMA which started in 2008). Nike sponsored Alajuelense from mid-1996 until June 1998.

The #8 was assigned to Victor Badilla, who signed from Saprissa (after being ostracized by their fans) on late 1991. He ended his stint on Alajuela on 1998, when he signed for Santa Bárbara prior to the 1998-99 season.
