A big season for PSV after ended 4th in Eredivise 2008/09 season. Their journey in Europe started from 3rd Qualifying round and ended in round of 32 where they excluded by the semi-finalist Hamburger SV
In group stages they ended 1st with Copenhagen, Sparta Prague and CFR Cluj as their (of course weaker) opponents.
Shirt is worn by the Dutch midfielder Otman Bakkal against the Romanian Cluj at home, winning by 1-0
