Autre Wigan Athletic (The Latics) Maillots De Foot

Wigan first joined the football league in 1978 when they were elected to the fourth division in place of Southport FC. The original team were formed in 1932 and wore red and white kits until 1947 when the familiar blue and white colour scheme was adopted. For their first season in the fourth division Umbro supplied their blue and white striped kit, which was retained until 1982. Since then the shirts have varied in design and colour, with the most recent shirts reverting back to the blue and white stripe theme.
