Third shirt as worn by Aston Villa in the truncated 2019/2020 Premier League season, wherein the Villans were floating in the relegation zone at the time of the COVID-19 pandemic putting society into lockdown. Worn only twice in competitive match action, versus Manchester City and Burnley, this design was inspired by the much loved Asics away kit from the 90\'s, but sadly failed to live up to its inspiration. Utilizing geometric shapes inspired by the Holte End\'s stained glass across the front, this design element was absent from the back - making this a very lopsided kit. Bad sponsors (two shady betting firms) and the Kappa logos being stickered rather than sublimated further added to the disappointment.
