Reading (The Royals) Football Shirts

Reading have worn a variety of shirt designs since they were formed in 1871. Up until 1938 dark blue and white stripes were worn, then the familiar royal blue and white hoops were adopted, although between 1953 - 1955 an all white shirt was worn. In the mid sixties the entire kit was pale blue. From 1983 to 1992 various designs were used, including a brief return to blue and white stripes, pale blue with a white tabbard, all white, and all pale blue. In 1992 they finally settled on the blue and white hoops and have remained with them since.

Reading kit sponsors have included Kyocera, Courage, Hat Painting and Auto Trader - view more
