Away shirt as worn by the Oldham Athletic squad during the 2008/2009 Coca Cola League 1 - a season wherein the Latics finished tenth out of 24 teams. Supplied and sponsored by Carbrini, one of the shell brands used by JD Sports prior to their withdrawal from the market in 2016 (having held rights over Carbrini, Carlotti, Diadora, and Fila), this shocking neon lime green design won a fan vote ahead of black, light blue, and red/blue shirt. Its most prominent feature are two black 'fangs' that extend from the sidepanels across the abdominal area.
This particular shirt was matchworn by Welsh international Neal Eardley, for whom 08/09 proved to be his last season at Oldham; the right back left for Blackpool, celebrating promotion to the Premier League, and later played for Birmingham City, Leyton Orient, Hibernian, Northampton Town, and Lincoln City.
This top was retained as third shirt for the 2009/2010 season.
