Federation in a deal with Statoil, an oil company, has agreed to renew a

partnership deal with the Norwegian Football Federation to sponsor the

country’s youth teams and the women’s national team that finished as

runner-up in the last UEFA European Championships. “Everybody has some

sort if link to football,” Statoil director Reidar Gjaerum said. “We are

especially proud of our agreement with the women’s team.” The company

will also donate shirts to young players at English Premiere League club

Manchester United. The deal is in conjunction with former Norwegian

national team and Man United forward Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
