New England Revolution Special football shirt 2018

2018 New England Revolution special football shirt. In observance of Earth Day 2018, MLS in collaboration with Adidas and Parlay, created special jerseys to commemorate the day. Home teams wore a white jersey, while visiting teams wore a black(ish) jersey. The jerseys are manufactured from material made from processed plastic recovered from the ocean.

"MLS has collaborated with Adidas and Parley to support Parley for the Oceans. During Week 8 matches, MLS players will wear special adidas kits, built of technical yarns made using Parley Ocean Plastic™. The gear will be supported by all 23 clubs and comes in two colorways, non-dye and carbon, differentiating the two teams in each game."

A portion of the proceeds from the sale of the jerseys to the fans will go towards ongoing efforts to clean our Oceans.
