European home shirt as worn by Napoli during the memorable 2019/2020 Champions League season, wherein the COVID-19 pandemic caused all knock-out games to be postponed for months on end. Napoli had qualified from a group containing Liverpool, Red Bull Salzburg, and Racing Genk, but were well beaten by FC Barcelona in the Round of 16 once play resumed.

This particular shirt is a variation on the regular 2019/2020 home shirt, in that navy panels replace white while the base azure colour is a little darker than that found on the tops worn in the Serie A. Additionally, sponsors MSC Cruises and Kimbo have been left off due to European regulations and the much-derided Lete logo is smaller to match the 200 square centimeter limit set for chest sponsors by UEFA.

This particular shirt is an authentic player version, meaning that it initially retailed for 80 Euro and consists of 91% polyester and 9% elastan for a tighter fit, plus breathable fabric, a perforated sponsor, silicone crest, diagonal cut sleeve cuffs, and an actual collar - all of these elements are outright missing or downgraded on the fan/stadium/cheer version of the shirt that Kappa sold for 40 Euro.

The European shirt recorded six outings in the Champions League and went undefeated with two wins and four draws - it was the unfortunate loss in white against Barcelona that saw Napoli eliminated from the competition.
