Home shirt as worn by the MVV Maastricht squad as the Sterrendragers (Starbearers) finished tenth in the Jupiler League to reach the play-offs, only to crash out in the first round against Almere City FC. Almost exactly the same shirts as worn in 2015/2016 and 2016/2017, this design got rid of the stars that were previously on the sleeves and replaced them with wings as a loving nod to the club\'s hardcore Angel-side supporters group.

Main sponsor was a community-focused campaign that sought to promote drinking tap water among children, with an odd stick figure mascot taking a central place on the shirt\'s chest. The right chest features the city\'s coat of arms, while the back of the collar reads \'Veer zien MVV\' - both a slogan (\'We are MVV\') and a supporter-led fundraising effort.
