Herediano Football Shirts

Herediano are nicknamed Los Florenses (The Florists) and play at the 8700 capacity Estadio Eladio Rosabal Cordero. They play in the Liga FPD, the top flight in Costa Rica, they have never been relegated having been founder members of the league in 1921.

Their first ever kit was bought at the Tomas Salazar´s Central Market, thanks to a financial donation by Joaquín "Toquita" Gutierrez. A dozen shirts were bought, similar to those worn by the army of the Federico Tinoco government. The top was a greyish colour with white shorts. In 1926 the club bought a job lot of kit meant for the Spanish Gymnastic Society, and the colours of red and yellow were adopted and remain to this day.

Herediano kit sponsors have included Samsung, Toshiba, Mutual Heredia and Coopenapo R.L. - view more
