Away shirt as worn by the 2018/2019 Go Ahead Eagles squad in just three matches across the entire season - a Cup match against Ajax and league matches against Sparta Rotterdam and SC Telstar. With all three fixtures resulting in defeats, this beautiful tartan design - voted on by fans from a poll including every single Go Ahead shirt from the past thirty years to celebrate the club\'s 30th anniversary with supplier hummel - was quickly consigned to the bin as the club stuck to its home shirt in away games (using the green and white hooped third shirt whenever a clash arose).

This particular shirt was worn for 29 minutes in the game against Sparta (6-1 loss for Go Ahead) by Joey Groenbast, a talented defender who had to sit out most of the season due to a knee injury. Despite playing over 50 matches for the club in previous seasons, he was let go at the end of 2018/2019.
