Go Ahead Eagles Home football shirt 2000 - 2001

2000 - 2001 Go Ahead Eagles home football shirt. Home shirt as worn by the Deventer club Go Ahead Eagles during the 2000/2001 Jupiler League season, the second tier of Dutch professional football.

"Kowet", as the team is sometimes affectionately called, finished 6th that season, qualifying for the playoffs where they finished dead last in a group with Sparta and Excelsior of Rotterdam, and Cambuur Leeuwarden.

The shirt was manufactured by Danish brand Hummel, whose Dutch headquarters are located in the city of Deventer. Headsponsor Morres is a department store specialized in furniture, with sleeve and back sponsors OAD and Castel@Home providing vacations and internet access, respectively.

This particular shirt is matchworn, but the identity of the player who donned it still eludes me at the time of writing.
