CD Canillas Unknown shirt type (unknown year)

CD Canillas football shirt. I found this shirt in a second hand shop in Biddulph, Staffordshire, England.

Badge says "UNFC". But this is printed over the top of the CD Canillas text.

CD Canillas are from Madrid, Spain. Their main team plays in one of the Spanish Regional leagues. The club has a close association with Real Madrid (apparently Jose Mourinho missed the recent Ballon D’Or ceremony as he went to watch his son play from one of the CD Canillas teams instead).

As for UNFC, that’s more of a mystery. It POSSIBLY refers to “United Nations Football Club”, a charity which was founded to bring football to impoverished young people.

My guess then would be that CD Canillas might have played a match against a UNFC team, which played in CD Canillas away shirts (with slightly amended team badges).

This shirt has the number 18 on the back.
