2003 Cape Cod Crusaders away football shirt. This is a player issued 2003 away shirt.
The nameplate on the back is sewn on, and covers over a sponsor - The Cape Cod Times - a local newspaper.
Formed in 1994, the first team disbanded at the end of the 2008 season.
During their time in the USL system they qualified for the US Open Cup 5 times, going out in the first round twice, the second round twice, and the third round once.
The Crusaders were one of the most successful minor-league soccer teams in the United States in the modern era. Having been national PDL champions twice, in 2002 and 2003.
The ownership group continues to operate under the Crusaders United banner, with youth development programs for boys and girls in the state of Massachusetts.
#19 Adam Pfeiffer - played for the Crusaders in the ’03 championship winning season during his offseason with his college team. Not long after earning his degree, he went into coaching at the collegiate and developmental levels.
