Although this shirt was a real hit with supporters due to its historical ties with Ted Macdougall's famous diving header in a match against Aston Villa some 30 years previous, it inspired little success on the pitch.

Bournemouth never won a game whilst wearing it and part way through its second season of use, a new white away shirt was produced - but never made available for sale - which saw this particular offering unceremoniously ditched before its sell by date.

    Picture thanks to Amy Maidment.

This shirt was featured in 'Shirt Tales' - AFC Bournemouth v Watford match programme - 18.01.14 which I wrote.
