2011 Boston Breakers home football shirt. The Boston Breakers have had several incarnations in woman’s leagues over the years. The original Boston Breakers played in the Woman’s United Soccer Association (WUSA) from 2001 to 2003. The latest incarnation was formed in 2007 to play in the new Woman’s Professional Soccer league (WPS) 2009-2011, then moved to the National Woman’s Soccer League (NWSL) in it’s 2013 inaugural year. With a 2012 stint in the transitional Woman’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL). The team was disbanded in January of 2018.

#6 Amy LePeilbet played for the Boston Breakers between 2009 and 2011 in defensive positions during their time in the short lived Woman’s Professional League (WPS). In addition to playing for several professional teams, she has also represented the US in both World Cup and Olympic competition.
