2012 Alajuelense goalkeeper football shirt. Goalkeeper shirt from the PUMA King collection released for 2012. Goalies during that year were Patrick Pemberton, Alfonso Quesada, Iván García and Esteban Carrillo. Dexter Lewis was signed later on the year after García was released and due to Quesada relapsing from an injury and requiring surgery afterwards, making him miss the entire Invierno tournament.

Four of the five keepers saw action during the year--García made the starting XI once during the Verano and was sent off after causing a penalty on a match against Limón FC. Carrillo was his sub that night and an outfield player had to be subbed out in order for Esteban to go to under the bar. Despite him conceding the penalty, Carrillo had an uneventful night afterwards.

Despite the above example coming along the shirt models intended to be used during the year, it eventually went unused by either keeper.
