1928 Alajuelense retro replicas football shirt. Replica of the home shirt worn during the 1928 season, when Alajuelense won the first of their (currently) 29 league titles.

Alajuelense won the final match of the season against Herediano by 4-2 on September 9th, 1928. Star player (and future FC Barcelona forward) Alejandro Morera Soto scored all four Alajuelense goals.

Alajuelense adopted their trademark red and black stripes in 1925 (save for notable exceptions on 1984 and 1988 where hoops were used instead), it has remained their home kit ever since.
