2003 - 2004 A.D. Santa Bárbara home football shirt. Home shirt as worn by Santa Bárbara on their final Primera División season.

Santa Bárbara was based on its namesake canton on the Heredia province and played their home games at the Carlos Alvarado stadium, named after Alajuelense's star goalkeeper, who is a native. After climbing the non-league ranks, Santa Bárbara was promoted to the first level ahead of the 1997-98 season and remained there until the end of the 2003-04 season. At the end of the season the club owners moved the team to Puntarenas and renamed it Puntarenas FC. Santa Bárbara remains defunct to this date.

The Santa Bárbara-based team is one of the few first level teams who has not been relegated (whilst the successor PFC was relegated on 2014 and has not returned).

Shirt #12 was used by Argentinean midfielder Pablo Daniel Antonio Gabas who was brought to Costa Rica by the Barbaran team. Gabas's good performances caught Alajuelense's eye and was signed on early 2004. Gabas eventually became a Costa Rican citizen through naturalization and is the most recent Alajuelense player to have become a club legend. Gabas just retired from play and is due to play his Testimonial on July 25th, 2018.

This shirt belongs to former Santa Bárbara club manager Rolando González's collection and was obtained from Gabas himself as a present.
