Home shirt as worn by the 1. FC Nürnberg squad during the 2020/2021 2. Bundesliga season, which was the club\'s second consecutive campaign in the second tier following relegation in 2018/2019.

Ostensibly inspired by the hooped adidas home shirts of 1981/1982, this design by Umbro incorporates two regularly sized black hoops alongside a black yoke on a burgundy base, which has been the club\'s dominant home colour since the abolition of red in 2011. Local insurance company Nürnberger Versicherung act as main sponsors for the fifth year in a row.

Overall, this is a disappointing design because of the lack of black on the reverse to mirror the front. Additionally, the hoops and yoke feel imbalanced due to the size difference brought on by the red hoop that holds the sponsor, making this a rather painful overall product. This is the last home kit to be supplied by Umbro, as adidas will return to kit out the club from 2021/2022 onwards.
