This design was worn intermittently during this period alongside various other Puma templates. It featured in qualifying for the 1996 Championships when the Czechs pipped Norway and Holland to top their group and qualify directly for the Finals in England. It was then worn in various friendly fixtures ahead of the finals. « hide

No matter the result here both sides were unable to make it to the Quarter-Finals and were playing purley for pride. A quickfire second half brace from Liverpool's Vladimír Šmicer sealed a 2-0 win for the Czechs as they went out with a bang. Látal was an unused substitute for the match and featured just once at the Finals. The midfielder won 47 caps in total for his country between 1994-2001 appearing at Euro 96 as well as Euro 2000. At club level he enjoyed his best spell with German Bundesliga outfit Schalke and helped the Royal Blues win the UEFA Cup in 1997. « hide

Details professionally heat pressed,transfer material crest and Puma logos, all seams are heat bonded, given to a match official as a gift and comes from their own... read more » personal collection - a signed letter verifying this will be provided Notes - Extremely rare player shirt believed to have been worn by Štajner for the 2008 European Championships Qualifying Group D match against Slovakia, played at Tehelné pole in Bratislava on 6th September 2006. This was the first meeting between the sides since a 4-1 win for the Czechs back in 2002 and Karel Brückner's men were looking to make it two wins from two in qualifying having defeated Wales last time out. A strong performance here saw the visitors run out 3-0 winners over their noisy neighbours. A brace from Rangers striker Libor Sionko did the bulk of the damage with veteran Jan Koller also getting in on the action. Štajner started on the benhc but entered the fray for Sionko on 77 minutes. The former Slovan Liberec man featured just twice in qualifying as the Czechs topped Group D ahead of Germany to book their spot at Euro 2008. The midfielder won 37 caps in total for his country between 2002-12 and featured at the 2006 World Cup Finals. « hide

The sides had last met at Euro 2004 when the Czechs cruised to a 3-0 win in the Quarter-Finals. A much closer game here saw Peter Løvenkrands give the visitors the lead but a last gasp Milan Baroš goal stole a share of the bragging rights. Lafata started on the bench but came on for Stanislav Vlček at half time. The forward won an impressive 41 caps in total for his country between 2006-16 and featured at both Euro 2012 and Euro 2016. « hide
