Away shirt as worn when Trevor Francis guided the Owls to a League Cup Semi-Final showdown with Manchester United, eventually going down 5-1 to the Red Devils on aggregate. This design was also used the following campaign as the side cemented a mid-table finish in the Premiership in what would be Francis' final season at the helm
