Stirling Macedonia Φανέλες ποδόσφαιρου

The team goes by the nickname Macies and were formed in 1971 by the Macedonian immigrant community. Home is the 5000 capacity Macedonia Park in the Perth suburb of Stirling.

They’ve had a few name changes over the years, originally West Perth Macedonia, they changed to Stirling Macedonia when they moved to Stirling and became one of the biggest clubs in WA. In 1999 there was a National Club Identity Policy introduced by the government which forbade references to ethnicities in club names so they (had to) became Stirling Lions Soccer Club. In 2019 the policy was revoked and the club returned the name Stirling Macedonia.
