Lyon entered the 2009-2010 season with online betting sponsor BetClic, the problem is, in France, teams are not allowed to put gambling or alcohol sponsors on their shirts (thus advertising these products on TV). So they sold their sponsorships on a game to game basis. Not dissimilar to the time when Atletico Madrid was sponsor by Fox (the movie studio) and they advertised different movies on their shirts every week.

This particular shirt was sponsored by French rapper Kool Shen and his new album.
