Torino Football Shirt

Grande Torino 1948/49 number 10 match-worn long sleeve shirt by Valentino Mazzola in a match of the 1948/49 Italian Serie A league (when he led Toro to win their fifth straight Scudetto Italian Serie A league Championship)

this is a real collector's dream shirt and the most important shirt of my collection (since I am a Toro fan) because it was worn by one of the greatest ever players in football history and the captain of the legendary Grande Torino (how they fabulous Torino invincible team of the 40s is called in Italy as the ultimate form of respect and to set it apart from anyother team) that, after setting many important records of Italian football that still stands today and providing with nearly the entire starting lineup to the Italy National Team of the 40s, died at their peak in the May 4, 1949 air crash tragedy against the Superga cathedral on the hill near Turin, leaving no survivors
