CF Monterrey Special football shirt 1998 - 1999

1998 - 1999 CF Monterrey special football shirt. This is an important Jersey in our Club, it was worn for the 1999 Libertadores, and it was also worn the day that saved us from going to Primera Division "A", it is like 2nd Dvision.

Monterrey had a bad season in the start of 1999, and in the last game of the season they had to play an important game, and that game would decide if they would stay in Primera Division, or they would go down to Primera Division "A", the game was held on May 9, 1999, in our home stadium, "El Estadio Tecnologico", and the game was played against FC Puebla, all Monterrey needed was 1 goal or a tie of 1-1.

The first half end up in a tie, 0-0, when the second half started, Antonio "El Turco" Mohammed, was taken out, and in his place one of our Clubs Icions took his place, Javier "El Abuelo" Cruz, who in 1986 gave our Club our first title.

In the Minute 72' el Abuelo Cruz put a pass to Sergio "Alvin" Perez in the center field, who made the goal, wining 1-0, everyone cried of the happines, but in 2 minutes later FC Puebla tied 1-1, but thats all they needed to Stay on Top.
