After a year at Macron's franchise company Branded Sportswear with a custom-made outfit in 07-08, the Pitmen returned to the Italian manufacturers, where they converted back to their traditional white shirts and black shorts for the first time since 2005-2006. A much more fitted kit, with a smart collar and design, was well recieved by supporters, but was tempered slightly when they realised a number of non-league teams, including Salisbury City, Eastwood Town and Rushden & Diamonds had also picked this design for one of their kits for this season
