This shirt, identical in design to the one worn by Scarborough in the same season, was worn during one of the best season's in the club's history. The Pitmen topped the Vauxhall Conference for a number of weeks, and beat Hull City 2-0 in it in an F.A. Cup 2nd Round tie played on Match of the Day
