Cipolletti is the most important club in Neuquén and Río Negro provinces.

The team is the most important of the Patagonia Argentina but now is going through one of the worst moments of it's life. Cipolletti is playing the Argentinian Tournament "B" which is de fourth categoriy of the national football.

This club played one match with the Cosmos of the MLS, and some national teams of Europe during de 70's and 80's.
