A matchworn Chris Birchall shirt complete with Coca Cola League patches on the sleeves. This is a "two-off" shirt issued by Brighton during the 08/09 season. Due to a bungle, all 3 of the clubs main kits had a lot of blue in the design, so when playing against Shrewsbury in the Johnstones Paint Trophy, and Millwall in the league, this special all white kit was worn on instruction of the referees due to potential colour clashes with the home side. It was never made available to the public to buy, however, as Oldfootballshirts sponsored Chris Birchall for his time at Brighton we were able to get our hands on one of them. This is the one he wore in the game against Millwall in February 2009, the Albion won 0-1.
