Apart from adding the badge and 'FA Cup Final Wembley 1983' letters separately, this shirt was created by getting an alterations company to nick the cuffs, collar and stripes from a Japan football shirt. The ex-Japan shirt elements were then added to a France 1982 World Cup shirt to become the great shirt worn by Brighton during the 1983 FA Cup Final. On the back of the shirt there is a number 10. In other words, out goes Michel Platini, in comes Gordon Smith. Bet Platini would have finished Man Utd off at the end, though.
